Wheeler peak

Wheeler Peak is the second highest peak in the U.S. state of Nevada, and the highest entirely within the state. It is located in the Snake Range, within Great Basin National Park, near the border with Utah. It is named for the explorer and cartographer George Montague Wheeler, leader of the Wheeler Survey of the late nineteenth century.
