Nojoqui Falls
Nojoqui Falls County Park is a wonderful birding location with year-round activity. There are few better places to observe the social system of Acorn Woodpeckers and especially on a fall or winter weekday when the park attracts limited human activity. In summer, Purple Martins nest along with the Acorn Woodpeckers in the natural cavaties of the woodland's Sycamores. The park has recently attracted Northern Parulas in May along with numerous, regular migratory species. Weekends bring crowds, especially during the summer months.
